Lessons

Duration

This will depend on the amount of time you can allocate, and whether you can make links to different subject areas. Three lesson plans have been suggested below: one linked to world-wide celebrations (1 hour, 30 minutes), one to plan the cooking party (about 1 hour), and then ideally a whole day to run the party (the morning to cook and the afternoon to party)! Of course, children could use AS 'Have a cooking party!' to plan their own celebration at home.
